After twenty-six years in law enforcement, both at the state and federal level, I saw first-hand the consequences of not having a sound plan for the future and the toll that it takes on individuals and families. During that time, I developed a passion and desire to help and lead people in reaching and securing their financial dreams. After retiring, I partnered with Bluecrest Financial Alliances so I could make this happen.

Whether your goals include preparing for milestone life events like retirement, college, estate building, or you are simply looking for life, disability-income, or long-term care insurance protection, I promise a new level of attention, insight, and capability. Along with a team of professionals, I can provide comprehensive financial strategies and/or focus on one specific area. I pride myself on getting to know each client, their financial priorities, and their long-term vision. I am committed to building meaningful, lasting relationships and look forward to helping you attain financial security.

Like many Texans I enjoy hunting and ranching in my spare time and anything that I can do to spend time with my beautiful wife and our four amazing children.

After graduating from Texas Woman’s University, I began my career in banking, a path that quickly sparked my interest in the finance world. What started as a job soon became a calling. I realized I wanted to do more than assist with day-to-day transactions; I wanted to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives.

That passion led to wanting to help individuals, families, medical professionals and business owners navigate life’s financial complexities with clarity and confidence. I believe financial advice should be personal, transparent, and rooted in trust. No two financial journeys are alike, which is why every plan we create is tailored to each client’s unique goals, values, and life stage.

Whether you're planning for retirement, saving for college, growing a business, or facing a major life transition, we offer personalized strategies built on integrity and long-term partnership. My goal is to empower you to make informed decisions and build a future you feel proud of.

I look forward to walking that journey with you.

My passion for financial strategies and helping provide people with answers for all of life’s inevitable curveballs can be traced back to my upbringing. I was adopted into a loving home by a career firefighter with a heart for service and a doting daycare teacher who was cut from the same cloth. My parents’ selfless approach to life inspired me in the years that followed. Though it was clear I wouldn’t be running into burning buildings or reading nursery rhymes, I had to carve my own path while honoring their legacy. So fast forward a few years, and I had cobbled together a successful career as a commercial banker. I was a natural with numbers, but my passion was helping people make sense of business ownership, providing the support they needed, and assisted in getting them out of some pretty sizable jams when life threatened to step on their dreams.

That’s when it hit me. As much as I enjoyed being in banking, it was handcuffing my ability to make a difference. These were small to mid-sized business owners who faced challenges that many other workers don’t. Most notably because their company didn’t automatically offer retirement savings. They’d have to do that on their own, all while purchasing materials, delivering a product, managing cash flow, and delivering the best service possible. Rather than step in on the back end — after they’ve become overwhelmed by all these responsibilities — wouldn’t it be better if I could work with these same people earlier on in their journey? Absolutely! So, without hesitating, I switched to financial services.

As a financial professional with a focus on small business strategies for more than 28 years, I want to help ensure your financial opportunities aren’t lost, left to chance, or forgotten. I feel that I am most effective in working with a family business where mom and dad or a close group of partners view employees like family and the business as their life’s work and eventual legacy. As their financial services representative and coordinator, I will work with their attorney, CPA, and banker, we can help to minimize their taxes, protect their assets, and provide plans that are designed to meet, or hopefully exceed, their goals.

More importantly, I spend the time getting to know them — understanding the “why” behind what they do, where they are on their current journey, and what keeps them up at night. It’s this process that ultimately allows me to make suggestions that cater to those unique needs, all without making them feel like they are being “sold something.”

They say that when you do what you are genuinely passionate about for a living, you’ll never work a day in your life. That was true for my parents, and it’s true for me now. I wake up every morning looking forward to impacting clients’ lives in a way that provides them with the peace of mind of knowing that they have a plan for the journey ahead. Outside the office, I enjoy attending Gateway Church with my wife, Angie, and five amazing daughters. I’m a former member of the Krum School Board and a founding member of the Krum Education Foundation. Angie and I are involved in CASA, the Woman-to-Woman Pregnancy Resource Center, Freedom House, the Denton Chamber of Commerce, the United Way of Denton County, and many other worthy causes.

I can’t wait to build a relationship with you and serve your needs now and in the future.
